Steve Taranovich is the editor in chief of EE Time's sister site, Planet Analog and also serves as senior technical editor at EDN. Steve has 40 years of experience in the electronics industry. He received his MSEE from Polytechnic University, Brooklyn, New York, and his BEEE from New York University, Bronx, New York. He is also chairman of the Educational Activities Committee for IEEE Long Island. His expertise is in analog with a diverse embedded processing education as it relates to analog design from his years at Burr-Brown and Texas Instruments. Steve was a circuit design engineer for his first 16 years in electronics. He then served as one of the first field application engineers with Burr-Brown Corp and also became one of their first global account managers, traveling to Europe, India and China.

Clive “Max” Maxfield received his B.Sc.in Control Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University in England in 1980. He began his career as a designer of central processing units (CPUs) for mainframe computers. Over the years, Max has designed all sorts of interesting “stuff” from silicon chips to circuit boards and brainwave amplifiersto Steampunk Prognostication Engines(don’t ask). He has also been at the forefront of electronic design automation (EDA) for more than 30 years. Max moved to America in 1990. Max ́s numerous technical articles have appeared in a wide variety of electronics and computing magazines, and he has held contributing editor andexecutive editor positions for many of these publications.Already a noted author of over a half-dozen books, Max is always thinking of his next project. He would particularly like to write for teens, introducing them to engineering andcomputers in a fun and exciting way. For this is what sets “Max” Maxfield apart: It is not just what he knows, but how he relates it to the learner.Max ́s enthusiasm is palpable, and perhaps this is why he is also a much-sought-after speaker at technical conferences around the world.

Yashar Shahabi is the Senior Vice President for Digital Solutions based out of Sourceability’s technology center in Irvine, California. He comes from an engineering background with a Bachelor in Electronics Engineering and an MA in Mobile Communications from University of London, King’s College. He has been in the electronics distributions industry since 1999 and has held various management positions across the globe in UK, Hungary, Germany, Hong Kong and China. He joined Sourceability in early 2016 based on the company’s vision for digital transformation of the electronic components supply chain.

Stan Foo joined Sourceability in April 2016 as the Sales Director for China. Prior to Sourceability, Stan has worked for companies in the EMS and independent distribution industries for 12 years.

Josh Pucci is Sourceability's VP of OEM sales to Asia and the Americas. Prior to joining Sourceability, Josh held numerous sales management and executive roles in the electronics industry both in Asia and in the US.

Joakim Stafwerfeldt is the Corporate Vice President EMEA of Sourceability since February 2017. Joakim has been working in the electronic distribution business since 1999 and held various senior management positions since 2003.

Jens is founder and CEO of Sourceability with over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Starting from only a piece of paper, the company raised private equity and is still in existence today.

Dev Rai has sixteen years of industry experience with top companies in independent electronics distribution. His strengths are in global purchasing management and vendor management.

David has been involved in many start-ups in the computer electronic and semiconductor industry since 1995. He was a Co-founder of Global Technology Exchange and was responsible for sales and operations in the Asia region.
