The Sourcengine Extension does not extract or read any information from the pages you visit outside of using a local detection algorithm to determine if the website is a Product Detail Page (PDP). When a PDP is identified by this algorithm, it is sent to Sourcengine’s servers to query for the information available on the PDP before sending a “badge” to alert users to relevant data on Sourcengine. Information from the website domain hosting the PDP is sent to Google Analytics to help Sourcengine further refine the extension.
